yoga workshops

Our workshops are based on a deep honor to the ancient tradition and practice of yoga. This centuries-old art and philosophy encompasses the specific positions of the body or Asanas, breathing exercises or Pranayama and less known by most of us, a moral code to support our SELF TRANSFORMATION and SELF REALIZATION, on and off the mat.

Karine and Mochi have been trained in over 4 different types of Yoga: Hatha, Flow, Yin and Guided Meditation. This gives the practitioner numerous ways to discover a new technique safely, revisit their practice with a beginner’s mind, blast away limitations, reshape their body, heal from injuries and find their yoga bliss or Samadhi.

Yoga Sutra Lectures bring into present times gems from ancient Yoga texts to support us to live well. The most famous is the “YOGA SUTRA”, written by Patanjali in 200 BC, which is our guide in explaining the nature of higher consciousness, the practices of yoga and the state of (final) liberation. The 2nd Pada or book offers impactful insights on the workings of the mind and the obstacles to wholeness, allowing each participant to dive deeper into their practice. Each lecture is an ode to the past and a celebration of what is possible right now.

Posture Clinic - Our clinic is our own personal way to honor and treasure each body and the demands of time passing, gravity and daily usage. Together we dissect the correct alignment of most popular poses and address frequently asked questions. By sharing scientific knowledge and the newest findings in anatomy, KAMOCHI supports the longevity of every body with care and acceptance.

Freedom Movement (Dance) - These sessions focus on the self-expressive and liberating art of dance. KAMOCHI has incorporated the fluidity and freedom of movement within the structured yoga practices. The practitioner is guided through a series of warm-up movements integrating both yoga, dance and breath; sometimes using the language and methodology of a dance class.

Utilizing the yoga mat as their dance floor, the yoga-dancer gets to safely explore movement, breath, structure and liberation. This may be an unfamiliar way for some people but definitely a new way of expressing, discovering and being with SELF.
